Alvin was born to the parents of Mary Lou and Alvin, Jr., on March 22, 1967 in Millen, GA; he was a devoted brother and loving son who loved his family, He always enjoyed grilling; he was a hard worker in his younger days, as everyone knew he had a love for his lottery.
He would do anything for anyone; he will truly be missed by all who knew him.

Alvin was preceded in death by his father, Alvin Lassiter, Jr.; three siblings, Elizabeth "Nancy" Herrington, Jerry Moore, and Teresa Jones.

He leaves to cherished memories: Diane Lassiter, Lee Lassiter, Ulysses (Brenda) Reynolds, Charles (Adell) Reynolds, Shirley Jean (Ralph) Wadley, Charles (Jennifer) Sweat, Terri Sweat, Tracey (Bobby) Steel, Kimberly (Vincent) Robertson, and Sandra Reynolds; two aunts, Queen Ester Lassiter, and Annie Bell Youman, and a special cousin, Marco.
Visitation will be today, Thursday December 30th from 1-5:00 p.m.. at James A. Kirkland Mortuary. A memorial will be held on Friday at home of Min. Shirley Jean Wadley 524 Gumloy St., Millen, GA at 11:00 a.m.
