Mr. Artis "Bubba" Newton, Jr. was born July 18, 1957 in Millen, GA to the late Artis Newton, Sr. and Florie Mae Newton. Artis grew up in Millen, Ga and was united in marriage to Patricia Ann Newton. Artis "Bubba" Newton devoted most of his work life to Jackey International and trucking.
"Bubba" made his transition on October 27, 2020, peacefully in his home; he was 63 years old.
Artis was predeceased by his sister, Annie Pearl Talton.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his beautiful loving wife, Patricia Ann Newton; His children, Lisa (Eric) Clay, Artis (Mary) Newton, III, Kamecia and Timothy Newton; his mother, Mrs. Florie Mae Newton; his siblings, Freddie Mae Foreman, Jeanette Newton, Emma Newton, Willie (Alma) Newton, and Ronnie (Jennifer) Newton; fifteen grandchildren, Arthesha, Artis, IV, Ariana, Ar'Zavion, Arquise, Ke'Arvis, Ke'Ary, Ian, Ga'Marion, MiCae'la, Addi, Haley, Cor'Drek, Johnesia and Johnequa, and one great-grandchild, Bruce, Jr., along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces nephew, cousin and great friends.
