Mr. Willie Arthur Jeff 80, passed away peacefully at home in the comfort of his loved ones on October 21, 2021. Willie, the eldest child, was born on December 17, 1940, in Millen, Georgia to the late Mr. Henry and Emma Mae Jeff.
He was affectionately known to family and friends as "Fox". He received his formal education in the Jenkins County Public School System. After completing his formal education, Fox worked in the construction business with his younger brothers. He later was employed by Williams Plastering and Stucco before his retirement. Fox took pride in supporting his family and friends often helping them out in any way he could. His dream was to provide a forever home to his children and grandchildren. When people would visit Fox for assistance, he would have them sit for up to 4 hours to have company, something he learned from his brother Henry Jeff. Brother Jeff loved the Lord, reading his bible, visiting with his family and friends, fishing, eating crabs and collecting vintage cars.
Willie "Fox" Jeff was loved by countless family members and friends. He leaves to cherish his memories his nine children, daughters Sandra Williams -Polite, Shirley, Renee, and Shamel Jeff, sons Terry (Lorraine) Robinson, Vincent Gary, Michael, Sacred and Stefon Jeff. He was the proud grandfather of 22 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; one sister Emily (Pervis) Ellison; two sisters-in-law Janice and Joyce Jeff; brother-in-law, Robert (Priscilla) Brown; three aunts Gussie and Flora Mae Newton and Willie Bell Coleman; two uncles Brantley (Alberta) and Frank (Mary Ann) Williams; God-daughter, Leandera Wiggs; a god-brother, Alton Williams and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sons Timothy Coleman, Arthur Brown, Lee Van Jeff and Mark Jeff, grandson Robert William Wright Jeff Jr., and brothers Henry Lee and Isaac Jeff. We will miss you Fox. May you rest in the comfort of the Lord.
If God allows me to live to see 80, I am blessed. The Lord has been good to me.
