Ms. Gladys Young, 73, was born January 6, 1952, to the late Benjamin f. Young and the late Janie L. Moor in Sylvania, GA.
She departed this life on Monday, February 17, 2025, at Pruitt-Bethany Healthcare in Millen, GA.
At an early age Gladys became a Jehovah's Witness and served faithfully at the Jehovah's Witness Kingdon Hall in Sylvania, GA until her health progressed and was no longer able to attend.
Gladys attended Burgess Landrum School; she received a nursing certificate from Georgia Technical College.
She was employed with the Bethany Home Nursing Center and Thompson Company before retiring.
She leaves to cherish her memories: one son, Kawanna "Khan" Young of Washington State; four siblings, Mr. George D. Young (Regina), Claxton, GA and Henry J. Young (Tina), Mattie L. Foreman (Lester) and Ethelene Young all of Millen, GA; a special niece, Daphne Young and a special nephew, Kenneth Young, and a host of other loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and her beloved Jehovah's Witness Assembly family.
