    Ms. Mae Ann Solsberry

    August 18, 1949 - February 6, 2022

    Ms. Mae Ann Myers Solsberry transitioned on Sunday, February 6, 2022, at her home. She was born to the parents of Leon & Willie Mae Boatwright Myers on August 18, 1949, in Millen, GA. Mae Ann received her education in the public school of Burgess Landrum and graduated in 1969. At an early age she joined Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church; she worked faithfully on the usher board where she later became the President of Usher Board. She was united in holy matrimony to the late Eddie Solsberry, from this union two children were born, one preceded her in death, Marcus Solsberry, now her memories live on in the hearts of her son, Eddie R. Solsberry. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and seven siblings, Leon Myers, Jr. James Myers, Sr., Ellis Myers and Willie E. Myers, Earlene Watson, Clara Reese, and Frankie M. Kendrix. She is survived by one son, Eddie R. Solsberry, Athens, GA, one step-daughter, Eddiestine Dubose, Augusta, GA; a special friend, Augustus Parker; two sisters, Charlotte Patterson and Sharon Myers; two brothers, Boss Myers and Craig L. Myers all of Millen, GA; one brother-in-law, Elijah Reese of Millen, GA, one sister-in-law, Lula M. Stokes and several loving nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be Thursday, February 10th from 1-6 p.m.
