Listen to Obituary

Mr. Bernard Jerome Anthony, age 63, entered into eternal rest on June 2, 2026,

following a courageous journey through numerous health challenges over the past

thirteen years.

Born on July 1, 1962, in Millen, Georgia, Bernard was the beloved son of the late Verlon

and Elsie Anthony. He received his early education in the Richmond County School

District and later attended Clark College, now known as Clark Atlanta University, where

he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1985. Upon his graduation, he had a successful

marketing and sales career with Ford Motor Company.

Bernard will be affectionately remembered for his spirited personality, warm smile,

engaging sense of humor, and his ability to connect with people from all walks of life. He

leaves behind a legacy of perseverance, strength, and cherished memories that will

continue to live in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

He leaves to mourn his passing and celebrate his life: his devoted son, Blair Michael

Anthony, Esq.; his beloved daughter, Janelle B. Anthony; his brothers, Bobby (Cleo)

Anthony and Edwin (Elizabeth) Anthony; his dedicated nephew, Edwin Maurice

Anthony; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; his brothers of Kappa Alpha Psi

Fraternity, Incorporated; and a plethora of dear friends whose lives were enriched by his

presence.

Though Bernard’s earthly journey has ended, his memory will forever remain a source

of comfort, inspiration, and love to all who were blessed to know him.
