Obituary

Mrs. Bessie L. Cooper was born to the late Charlie Sr. and Luartist Reese Cooper on June 15, 1948, in Jenkins County She departed this life on Monday, February 7th.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Leroy Cooper and a brother, James Reese.
She attended school at Burgess Landrum public school system.
She leaves to cherish her memories: five daughters, Diane (Sam) Foreman of Statesboro, GA, Brenda (Melvin) Glass of Fayetteville, GA, Michelle (Timothy) Brady of Millen, GA, Felicia Rivers of Charlotte, NC and Joy (Josh) Newton of Millen, GA; three sons, Leroy (Larissa) Cooper, Jr., of Augusta, GA, Lloyd J. cooper and Ron cooper of Millen, GA.
She also leaves two sister, Juanita McGee and Rosa Reese; five brothers, Bobby Jones, Charlie (Alice) Reese, John (Marilyn) Reese, Jerry (Wanda) Reese and George Reese; three sisters-in-law, Mable Reese, Betty Jean Jenkins, Minnie Cooper, Ona Lee Cooper and Zadell Cooper, four brothers-in-law, Joe cooper, Wilbert Cooper, Frank (Lucy) Cooper, and Larry D. Cooper; fourteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
Visitation will be Saturday, 1-6 p.m.
