Demirio spent all his life in Millen, GA where he received his primary and secondary education in the Jenkins County Public School System. He was a graduate of Jenkins County High School, Class of 1999.
A Time To Worship:
Demirio began his walk with the Lord at an early age, and he was member of New Springfield Baptist Church.
A Time to Mourn:
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Lillie Chandler, Frank and Molly Griffin, uncles, James (Gator) Chandler and Barry Jones.
He leaves behind two loving children: Mariah J. Griffin, Millen, GA and Demariya G. Griffin, Durham, NC; his loving parents, Gregory and Joan Griffin, Millen, GA; two sisters: Takeshia Chandler, Stockbridge, GA and Chelsea Griffin, Hampton, GA; one brother, Gregory T. Griffin, Millen, GA; five uncles, Larry (Joann) Chandler, Jack (Vanessa) Chandler, Marvin (Juliet) Givens, Jimmy (Eva) Chandler and Lloyd Chandler; eights aunts: Laura Jones, Laretha Williams, Mattie Bell Strong and Jeanna (Charles) Preston, Tamia Griffin-Lovett, Sabrina Griffin, Sheila Griffin, and Sherry Graham; great uncle: Mack Holmes; great aunts, Armennie Carter, Annie Pearl Gibson, Evelyn Lynch, Annie Bell Chandler, Bennie Mae Carswell, Betty Davis and Lois Banks; His best friend/brother, Jamar Dunnum; and a host of other special relatives and friends.
