Ms. Lizzie Lee Cosby, the daughter of the late Ezekiel Cosby and the late Rosa Lee Solsberry Cosby was born on on July 8, 1936. On Sunday, December 6, 2020 entered into eternal rest.
She lived in Millen, GA all of her life. She attended Aaron School in Millen, GA. Lizzie was employed with Bethany Nursing Home, the Jenkins County Elementary school cafeteria and retired as a homemaker.
Ms. Lizzie was known and loved by many; she never met a stranger. She loved to help people; Her motto was "treat others as you would want them to treat you." She lived her life to the fullest and will be loved and missed dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three children, Eddie Cosby, Rollie Earl Cosby and Jesse Arthur Cosby; two sisters, Rebecca Cosby & Mary Hayes and two brothers, Rufus Cosby and Artis Cosby and 2 aunts and 2 uncles, Ollie Mae Golff & Edna Solsberry, Thomas Solsberry & Eddie Solsberry.
She leaves to cherish her memories: a son, Willie Fred (Beola) Cosby, Emma Scott (Raymond) Julian and Anna (Raymond) Clark; a brother, Alexander (Carolyn) Cosby, and one sister, Betty Jean (Joseph) Lassiter. ten grandchildren, Brittania, Eric, Jose, Voncelle, Renada, Carlos, Tahara, Willona, Natasha & Jacqueline, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family and friends.
