Ms. Mae Florence Brinson's Obituary
Mae Florence Brinson, born on July 27, 1926, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2025. She was one of the beloved daughters of the late Boss Brinson and Anna Benjamin-Brinson. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Annie Mae Johnson.
Mae attended the Jenkins County School System and later became a gifted seamstress, known for creating her own patterns from brown paper bags. She also worked as a homemaker for various families, offering care and kindness wherever she served.
As a devoted member of First McCoy Missionary Baptist Church, Mae faithfully sang in the choir until her health declined.
Left to cherish her memories are her children: Mary (Charlie) Oglesby of Nashville, TN, Genard "Jack" (Classie) Brinson of Millen, GA, and Annette (Alvin) McCollough of Waynesboro, GA; a devoted niece, Willie Maude Glenn of Newman, GA; and a loving host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
