Mary Lou Reynolds

Mary Lou Reynolds was born on February 8, 1938, to the parents of John Willie Sweat and Susie Mae Sweat.

She was a faithful member of Greater New Jerusalem Church of God in Christ where she served on Mother’s Board until her health declined. Mary Lou Sweat and the late Ulysses Reynolds were united in holy matrimony; this union brought forth thirteen children, Ulysses (Brenda) Reynolds, Jr., Charles (Adell) Reynolds, Shirley (Ralph) Wadley, Dinah Lassiter, Lee Anthony Lassiter, Kimberly (Vincent) Roberson, Sandra Reynolds, Terri Sweat, Charles (Jennifer) Sweat Tracy (Bobby) Steele, Jerome Young, Jr., and Craig Haffney; three preceded her in death, Teresa E. Jones, Mary E. Herrington and Alvin Lassiter, III.

She was blessed to have ten siblings in which she leaves behind only two now, John Henry Sweat and Thomas (Retta) Sweat; a host of sisters-in-law and brother-in-law; four generations of grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
