Obituary
Mr. Oliver "Dwayne" Jackson was born in Miami, Florida to the parents of Bridie Mae Corley and Orlanda Jackson on October 30, 1954. He departed this life on December 18, 2021, at Pruitt-Healthcare Bethany, Millen, GA.
Oliver was the youngest of three boys; he attended school in Jenkins and graduated from Jenkins County High School.
He was a lover of life, he never let his condition to hinder or stop him.
He also had a passion for fixing things; among his many skills he worked as a mechanic.
He leaves to cherish his memories: three children, Shan Patrick, Oliver Jr., Heather Jackson, and Nikki of Florida; one brother, Willie B. Jordan of North Lauderdale, Florida; loyal and devoted friend, Johnny Lee Williams; two special friends and caretakers, Reuben Groover and Alonzo Holmes, both of Millen, GA, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021 from
12:00 P.M. -1:00 P.M. at James A. Kirkland Mortuary, 135 N. Gray St., Millen, GA 30442
