Pastor Glynn Allen Sea, Sr. was born to the late Albert & Grace Sea of Millen, GA on June 18, 1063. He received his education in the Jenkins County System and received a high school diploma. A man that stood among Giants was once said about Glynn, given his statue in size. Always looking out for his family and loved ones. His favorite scripture was Joshua 1:8 – This book of the law shall not depart out of thou mouth, but thou shall meditate there in day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein; For then thou shall make thy way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
July of 1981, Glynn enlisted into the United States Army; after basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, he was stationed at Fort Polk Louisiana, then transferred overseas to Baumholder, Germany, afterward, Glynn re-enlisted and was stationed at Fort Benning, GA; during that time he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior.
Description automatically generatedGlynn met the love of his life, Martha Miller, and they were joined in Holy Matrimony on November 15, 1986; three sons were born to this union, Glynn Allen Sea, Jr., Jamal Devonte Sea, and Martice Miller Sea. After serving his country for seven and half years he was honorably discharged.
He was later employed with GA Department of Corrections in 1990 with Georgia State Prison for fifteen years; he transferred to Rogers State Prison. He was employed for a total of thirty credible years of service.
On Thursday, September 30th, 2022, at home with family, God called Pastor Sea from Labor to Reward.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert & Grace Sea, and several siblings.
He leaves to cherish one brother, Alvin Sea, of Millen, GA; three sisters, Linda Carter, Judy Sea, and Lottie Pierce, all of Millen, GA; one sister-in-law, Bernell Branch, Millen, GA; three brothers-in-law, Joseph T. Miller, Edgar (Sheila) Miller, and Ellis (Lisa) Miller of Stillmore, GA; father-in-law Deacon Ellis (Ernestine) Miller of Millen, GA; one uncle Albert W. (Lottie) Kaigler of Millen, GA; Uncle-in-law, Joseph Miller, Edgar (Mattie) Miller of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; one aunt, Rosa Malloy of Trenton, NJ and a host of nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services was Oct. 8th, 2022 at Miracle Temple Church of the Living God.
