Her Life Reflections
Our mother, Shelia Denise Wilson, was born to the late George Earl and Elease Mary Wilson on September 17, 1960, in Millen, GA. She was the second child of five children (one preceded her in death). Mom was a graduate of Jenkins County High School. Shortly after high school, she moved to Atlanta, GA.
She worked in the Healthcare Industry. She enjoyed working with the elderly and had the biggest heart. She worked hard for those she cared for. Shelia assisted her mother with caring for her grandmother, Daisy Brown, and later took care of her mother until her death.
She was a member of Morrison Grove from an early age. Shelia loved the Lord.
Everyone who knew and loved Shelia knew she would hurt your feelings with her bluntness and truthfulness while doing so with a smile. If you don't want the truth, then don't ask Sheila. All the advice, whether you wanted to hear it or not, was given out of love. One of her favorite lines was, "If you don't want the truth, don't ask me." Shelia was known for her smile. When she smiled, oh, how pretty it was. Everyone remembers her and her smile. Shelia was loving, kind, forgiving, and would help anyone.
Shelia was blessed with five wonderful sons. She loved her boys, and her boys showed her how much they loved her every day as they grew into strong God-fearing men.
Our Mom leaves memories of love for her five sons: Domonic Wilson (Brandi), Atlanta, GA, Jessie Wilson (Danessa), Rubin Wilson (Alina), all of Lyons GA, Alroy Wilson (Timari), Tennessee, Novel Wilson (Maya) of Lyons, GA.
Brothers: George Wilson (Myra), Anthony Wilson (Pepita), all of Millen, GA, Alphonso Wilson (Shelia) CA, Demetrious Wilson, and one who preceded her in death, Kenneth Wilson (Sharon Williams).
Sister: Mignon Lattimore, Augusta GA, Yvonne Coleman, Alabama, and Erica Wilson
Grandchildren: DJ, Dominique, Royal and Diamond, De'Lialah and Nova
Along with a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and all her many friends and family, we thank you for your continuing support and prayers.
