Mrs. Sherri Regina Steele Perkins, affectionately know as "Baby Girl,' was born in Millen, GA on September 24, 1967 to Mrs. Lula Bell Hardaway and Mr. James Odell Steele, Sr.
She received her education through the Jenkins County School System. Sherri was a very sweet and beautiful person, she always brought laughter and joy when she came around, she had a smile that brighten any room.
Sherri was loved dearly by her parents, how preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her four children, Angel Perkins, Anthony Perkins, Jr., Adrian Perkins, and Malcolm Steele, and one sister also preceded her in death, Ms. Robin Sims.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories; her beloved fiances of five years, Curtis Cuttray of Savannah, GA; sister, Ivetta King, brothers, Eugene (Nellie) Hardaway, James O. (Annette) Steele, Jr., and Calvin Strong (Lavone) Charleston, SC, her twin, Shelban Renard Steele, (Sholia); five beautiful grandchildren, Elijah McCrae of North Carolina, Addison Steele, North Carolina, Peyton Steele, Londyn Steele, and Kameron Steele, all so Statesboro, GA, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
