Life & Legacy of Shirley Mae Bell Holley
Shirley Mae Bell Holley was born to the late Dave and Eula Mae Bell on February 19, 1948, in Bryon, GA. She received her schooling in Miami, FL at Booker T. Washington High School and retired as Business Owner of Holley's Family Market.
She accepted the Lord as her Savior at an early age at Bible Baptist Missionary Church in Miami, FL under the leadership of Pastor Albury; after moving to Millen, GA in 1982, she joined Morrison Grove Baptist Church.
On October 13, 2022, at 6:27 a.m., Thursday morning at Piedmont-Augusta Hospital, an angel came and escorted her to a special place where there no more sorrow and pain.
She was preceded in death by her son, Dwayne Austin Lewis, and her sisters, Barbara Butler, Lillie (Elaine) Bell, Marylin Bell, Betty Richards, Mary Ann Jenkins,
She leaves her cherished memories to her husband, Roosevelt Holley of Millen, GA, her daughter, Emma Goodwin (Finas) of Augusta, GA; three sons, John Bell (Felisha) of Augusta, GA, Jose Bell (Regina) of Pennsylvania, Lorenza Lewis of West Palm Beach, FL; one sister, Bluford Barnum (Eugene) of Jonesboro, GA; two brothers, Dave Bell (Beverly) and Ricky Bell both of Miami, FL, and her loving and dedicated caregiver, Steve Holley, Jr., and her grand-daughter, Jasmine Williams, thirty-three grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
