Ms. Sylvia Louise Pierce was born May 24, 1972, in Swainsboro, GA to the late Mr. J.M. Mobley and the late Ms. Susie Mae Pierce. She was educated in the Public Schools of Jenkins County. On Thursday, August 25, 2022, she was called home to be with the Lord.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.
Sylvia is preceded in death by her daughter, Vondessa Patrice Powell.
She leaves to cherish her memories: three sons, Jonathan (Lynette) Pierce of Atlanta, GA, Casey Pierce of Dooly, GA, and Pierrie Pierce of Millen, GA; three loving sisters, Gerlyne Mobley and Teresa K. Mobley of Millen, GA, and Sharon Hughes of Swainsboro, GA; four brothers, John (Joann) Mobley, Willie Mobley and Ricky (Ashley) Mobley, all of Millen, GA, and Gurnell Mobley of Swainsboro, GA; one maternal aunt, Mrs. Alavan Reese of Millen, GA; one maternal uncle, Mr. A.D. (Sandra) Pierce of Garfield, GA; one paternal aunt, Ms. Annie Mobley of Swainsboro, GA; ten grandchildren; and a special friend, Mr. Luther Shumake, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
