Born on July 22, 1987, Terrance Vonzell Herrington was the son of Deacon
Samuel L. Herrington and Sister Kathy L. Herrington in Augusta, Georgia.
Terrance was educated in both Jenkins and Bulloch County school systems.
He was gainfully employed in a variety of areas including managerial roles
and recently in security. He became a member of Williams Grove Church
of God in Christ as a child where he participated in The Sunshine Band,
Puritans, and the youth choir. Affectionately known as "Goot", Terrance
was an animated and loving person who made sure his mark on the world
was unique and lasting.
Terrance was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Willie Lockhart, Sr,
and his paternal grandparents, Willard and Dollie Herrington and his
maternal great grandmother Janie Dunnum.
He is survived by his wife, Kendra Burroughs Herrington, children Kaylin
Herrington, Zy'khoryian, Herrington, and Trinity Herrington all of
Statesboro, GA; his parents Samuel and Kathy Herrington, both of
Statesboro, GA; maternal grandmother Aria Hines of Thomasville, GA;
sisters Courtney Carter and Darcy (Jimmy) Kelly both of Augusta, GA,
LaKeisha Herrington of Atlanta, GA, Ebony (Charles) Sherrod-Jenkins and
Tiffany (Lee) Reynolds both of South Carolina; and brothers Cedric
(Moyagaye) Sherrod of Maryland and Jatavis Scott of Millen, GA; god
parents Rickey Sharpe of Millen, GA and Maryann Noble of Statesboro,
GA; god-sisters Michaela Moore, Jamesha Young, Sanetra Jeff all of Millen,
GA and Angelica Hunter and god-brother Lyndon Snelling Jr., both of
Statesboro, GA. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and
extended family including special friend Karla Sabb.
