Mr. Tommy Lee Thompson was born on June 20, 1948 in Millen, GA to the late Mr. Hosie Roberson and Mrs. Bernice Thompson Bynes. He was educated in the Jenkins County School system and was a logger by trade.

He lived most of his life in Millen.
He was preceded in death by a son, Antonio Shaffers, and his parents, stepfather, Mr. Charlie Bynes, Sr. and four siblings, Charlie, Jr., Robert, Ralph, and Roy Bynes.

His love will continue to live on in the hearts of his loved ones: A special person, Sabrina Plair; sisters, Elizabeth Mosley, Fearron Bynes, Elzie Bynes (Ed Willie), Shirley (Gene) Barbara (Tim), Marsha Drummer; his brothers, Kenneth (Delaine), Verlon, both of Millen, GA, Denise, Vannise (Nate) of Ft. Lauderdale, Alice Jean, and Frances of Augusta, GA; aunts, Janice Reddick, Statesboro, Bessie Evans, Annie Lou Simpkins, of Vero Beach, FL, Lillie Davis (Edward) of Millen, GA; uncles Matthew Roberson (Min. Louise), Millen, GA and Eddie Roberson, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Dirk and Tyrone Roberson, Millen, GA; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at James A. Kirkland Mortuary
from 1-6:00p.m.
