Mrs. Tonja Denise Lewis Cave was born on August 13, 1971, to the late of Willia F. Herrington and Albert Lewis in Augusta, GA. Tonja was educated in the Jenkins County School system and later graduated from Job Corp with a certificate in Interior Design. After Job Corp she lived in Brunswick, GA for ten years, and was employed with Emerald Princess Cruise Line; she was an outgoing young lady; she was also employed with Pine View Nursing Facility. She moved to Waynesboro, GA, and later married Mr. Randy Cave who preceded her in death several years ago.
Tonja leaves to cherish her memories: four children, Brittany (Alberta), Cherrelle Ivy, Quintin Lewis, and Willie Lewis, Jr.; siblings, Maxine Harris, Tomasina Mincey (Demario), Kelvin Wright (Shonda) Katina Davis (Rickey), a special cousin (like a sister) Octavia Jenkins; her aunts, Ms. Gwendolyn Patterson, Carolyn Waltower (Rev. James); great-aunts, Nina Harris and Callie Bell Herington; her uncles, Temothas Herrington, (Alfreda), Eddie James Simmons, Otis Wright (Lucy), Harold Simmons (Neltricia) Charles Wright, and Robert Wright, Jr., and a host of other relatives and friends.
