Mrs. Willie Bell Coleman was born January 7, 1939, to the late Mr. Vannie and Roxie Sly Newton.
She entered eternal rest on February 9, 2026, at Savannah Memorial Hospital surrounded by family.
She was a native of Jenkins County but during her young adult life she moved to Savannah, GA where she resided for many years. She later returned to Millen, to make a home and care for her husband, the late Quincy Coleman, Sr.
Three sons one sister and seven brothers preceded in death: Quincy Coleman, Jr., Bobby Coleman and Terry Coleman, Ms. Gussie Lee Newton, Henry (Emma) Jeff, Wesley Jeff, Lee Jeff, Willie (Emma) Newton, Walter and Artis (Florrie) Newton, and Robert Branch.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory: Her children, Tommy Coleman of Statesboro, GA, Robert (Tracey) Coleman of Savannah, GA, Micheal (Burnette) Coleman and Brenda (Lonzie) Joyner of Millen, GA and Yolanda (Julius) Robinson of Savannah, GA; two brothers-in-law, Lewis Coleman, Curtis Coleman and one sister-in-law, Betty Norman all of San Diego, CA, and a host of grands, great-grands and great, great-grands, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friend.
Wake will be 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at James A. Kirkland Mortuary.
