God in His infinite manner has called home our beloved Willie. On Thursday night, Willie answered the call and was ready to be with the Lord.
Mr. Willie Baldwin, Sr. was born December 12, 1948 to the late Mr. Alex and Eloise Baldwin in Selma, Alabama. He accepted Christ at an early age and joined Bethel Hill Missionary Baptist Church in McKinley, AL. After graduating Amelia L. Johnson High School in Thomaston, AL, he enlisted into the U.S. Army and served ten years. Upon leaving the military he went on to work in construction for over thirty years at Meybohm Construction and Master Craft Flooring. He met and married Ms. Viola Herrington Baldwin, six children and fifty-two years of marriage, Mr. Baldwin answered the call to be with the Lord.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Baldwin; his siblings, Charles Hurry, Loudella Thomas and son Michael M. Garrett.
He leaves behind his devoted loving and cherished wife, Viola Herrington Baldwin of 52 years and six children: Yolonda (Jeffery) Baldwin, Milton, FL, Lisa (Luanda) Ricketts of Augusta, GA, Thishun Baldwin of Warner Robins, GA, Willie (Tabitha) Baldwin, Jr. of Augusta, GA, Wesley (Pamela) Baldwin of Millen, GA, and Courtney Johnson of Augusta, GA; one brother Arthur Harris of Mobile, AL; twelve grandchildren, DeMarius, Willie, III, Lourenden, Tiara, Braxton, Kaiyden, Augusta, GA, Jysmyne Baldwin of Metter, GA, Jeffery Green, Jr., Riley and Robert Harris of Milton, FL, Keyiyah and Syesjah Ricketts of Augusta, GA, and Rashone Baldwin of Warner Robins, GA; one great grandchild, Karson Baldwin of Augusta, GA; one first cousin, Sandra Smith Clemons of Pensacola, FL; sisters-in-law, Martha Harris, Lucy Herrington, Sarah Herrington, Louise (Charlie) Mosley of Millen, GA Lessie Johnson of North Augusta, SC, and Linda Herrington of Brunswick, GA; brothers-in-law, Tommy Herrington of Augusta, GA, Frank Anderson, Waynesboro, GA, Franklin Herrington, Brunswick, GA, and Jessie Thomas, Sr, Stafford AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
